CHURCH OF THE MOTHER OF GOD OF LURDS IN VRATA
CHURCH OF THE MOTHER OF GOD OF LURDS IN VRATA
The construction of the church began in 1929, with the laying of the foundation stone on the initiative of the local priest Antun Golik, and was completed in July 1932.
The neo-Gothic altar is adorned with a beautiful statue of Our Lady brought from Lourdes.
The ceiling is covered with larch wood, and under oak parquet. Much of the building material comes from the locals of Vrata, who also participated in the construction of the church.
The bell was purchased by the priest Golik, and it is dedicated to the Mother of God of Lourdes.
